Hon. Lisa Lenihan (ret.) is recently retired from a 20 year career with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In that capacity, in addition to serving as a trial judge with all that entails, she mediated hundreds of cases for other judges on the Court. She received mediation training from the Federal Judicial Center and was asked by the FJC to train other judges in mediation techniques. She has been mediating cases and acting in a special master capacity since starting her ADR practice in November 2023. The cases she mediates include but are not limited to employment disputes, class actions, corporate disputes, civil rights, patent matters and personal injury. She also teaches mediation skills at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
